Sprinters appreciate running, UNESCO heritage at Trang A Marathon in Vietnam

Long-distance runners will have the opportunity to explore and experience routes that connect the ordinary and social qualities through landmarks such as the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Trang A tour and Bai Dinh pagoda.

HANOI – About 5,000 sprinters attended the fourth launch event of the annual Trang A Long-distance Race – Footstrike from the Legacy on November 9 at Trang A Sports Complex, Ninh Binh.

They are Vietnamese and about 200 foreigners from 28 countries and districts who will participate in four unique running distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km around the UNESCO World Heritage Site on November 10.

Long-distance runners will have the opportunity to search and experience routes that connect ordinary and social qualities through landmarks such as Hoa Lu ancient capital, Trang A tour, Bai Dinh pagoda.

In addition to the awards for the five main champions of the rankings and age groups, there will be awards for the most impressive cosplay and the most beautiful running images of the contestants.

Any sprinter who breaks the track record will also be respected and awarded.

The Trang A Long-distance Run is one of the activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang A being recognized as a dual world heritage site, the first and only in the Southeast Asian district.

The coordinators believe that the race not only helps promote the development of sports activities in the region but also aims at the common goal of Ninh Binh in general and Trang A in particular to become a stronger locality, promoting the development of local tourism. VNS
