Hanoi — Vietnam will send three top golfers to compete in the BMW Golf Cup final in Thailand one year from now, earlier than expected.

The golfers are Ta Quang Duong, Nguyen Ngoc Khanh and Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu, who as of late won the BMW Golf Cup – Public Last 2024 Vietnam held at Tan Son Nhat Green in HCM City.

Held in 1982, the BMW Golf Cup is one of the largest golf competitions for beginners in the world. Each year, the tournament attracts more than 100,000 members from 40 countries and territories, with only the best 350 competing for the title.

In the 2023 competition, Vietnam will have golfers Tran Dieu Tuan, Nguyen Anh Tuan and Tran Huong Ha competing in the BMW Golf Cup final in South Africa. After three days of real competition, they succeeded against golfers from 31 countries, taking the next position in the Public Group Ranking with a score of 278 places.

This achievement marks Vietnam’s best performance since the BMW Golf Cup started in 2019. VNS
